Cuban food – Flan

Flan is one of the best deserts. It’s creamy, cold, sweet, and irresistible.

We present you our recipe that never fails. Enjoy!!!

There are 2 parts of the recipe: Caramel and mixture for the flan.

  • Caramel:
  • 100g of sugar

Melt it on the medium heat until it turns golden and pour it into the baking dish.

  • Mixture for the flan:
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2l of milk
  • 1 sweetened condensed milk

Beat the eggs and add milk, and condensed milk. Mix it well and pour it above the melted caramel.

Put the baking dish into the bigger dish and fill it with water until the baking dish is half immersed. Bake 1 hour in the oven at 200 grades.

Check that is done but putting a toothpick in the middle of flan. If it comes out dry, the flan is cooked.
